Marsha Visser

Marsha Visser has been working with project and earned value management tools for over 30 years. She has successfully implemented Deltek Cobra, developed EVMS processes, validation processes along with developing and delivering training to government agencies and their contractors in the United States, Canada, Europe and China.

Working with small to fortune 500 companies, Marsha has valuable experience across many industries, including but not limited to: Banking, Manufacturing, Retail, IT, DOE, DOD, Army, Navy, Air Force, Telecommunications, Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Health & Wellness and Construction.

With past experience as Controller, Marsha has worked with every level of management and staffing.

Marsha has earned her certification in Project Management and has served on various boards in the community along with volunteering.

Betty Fisher is a Principal of Visser Group, a technical training and development firm. As one of the co-founders of Visser Group, Betty Fisher is involved in all aspects of company operations. As a leader, instructional designer, strategic facilitator, trainer and author, Betty has worked with more than 700 business leaders, executives, and boards of directors from a diverse set of multinational companies including Honeywell, Oracle, NASA and Lockheed Martin.

Visser Group training focus on Earned Value Management and Project Management. Earned Value Management is an essential Program Manager and Technical Lead tool for supporting proactive decision making. Earned value management is fully embraced by the DoD Acquisition Community as an inherent part of the acquisition program management value chain and provides Program Managers accurate and timely insight into cost, schedule and performance of DoD weapons systems and services programs. Earned value management is now used on programs world-wide. Primary users include the United States, Europe, England, Canada, Australia, China, and Japan. It is a requirement of many U.S. Government agencies, including the Department of Defense (DoD), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Department of Energy (DOE), the Intelligence Community, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Department of Transportation (DOT), Health and Human Services (HHS), and others. Visser Group focus is to achieve mission-critical results by identifying root cause setbacks, leveraging strengths, expanding self-awareness, and improving leadership skills. Once a contractor's EVM System is designed and implemented on a project, there are significant benefits to the contractor and to the customer. Dr. Fisher is knowledgeable of earned value management processes and proficient with Earned Value Management tools. As a facilitator, Betty utilizes her experience in organizational development, strategic planning, and leadership training. As an instructional designer, Betty pioneered and co-created several concepts and tools that helped reinvent leaders, teams and organizations. These concepts and tools include "Success to Significance Leadership," "The Five Levels of Leadership Assessment," "Earn Value Management Scheduling Techniques" and "Oracle Primavera Version 6 Application." As a technical trainer, Dr. Fisher deliver Control Account Managers (CAM) training, a formal processes training that introduces client companies to earned value management principals - including project scheduling, how to interpret the data and best practices in project management – criterion to help them better manage their projects. Training also include analyzing cost and schedule variances and preparing and analyzing monthly cost and schedule impact reports. Earned Value Management tools includes Deltek Cobra – cost analysis software and Oracle Primavera version 6 scheduling software.

Betty holds a Bachelor in Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida, a Master's degree from the University of Phoenix and a PhD in Organizational Development from the University of Phoenix.
